The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision

Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.

The tragic news was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts said.
